IBA Alzette-Belval Steering Committee

On Wednesday 23 September the first meeting of the steering committee of the cross-border IBA Alzette-Belval took place at the city hall of Sanem. On behalf of the Atelier pre-IBA, prof. P. Swinnen presented the state of affairs of the prefiguration mission. The event was attended by a group of stakeholders and politicians, among whom there was Claude Turmes (Ministre de l’Énergie et de l’Aménagement du Territoire du Grand-Duché du Luxembourg) and Laurent Touvet (Préfet de Moselle) who were appointed as co-presidents of the Steering Committee of this prefiguration mission.

Until the end of 2021, the Atelier pre-IBA will continue to work on five majors themes in order to prepare an IBA project over the period 2022-2032: a unifying landscape, affordable collective housing, urban hybrids, solid public initiative, new sustainable resources.
