"Luxembourg in Transition" opens at luca
Exhibition July 1 – October 7, 2023
Luxembourg Center for Architecture (luca)
The team of researchers of the Master in Architecture programme took part in the exhibition “Luxembourg in Transition: Visions for a Desirable Futures,” that opened at luca—Luxembourg Center for Architecture on 1 July 2023. The exhibition will be on display until 7 October 2023, and is based on the international consultation Luxembourg in Transition, carried out under the patronage of the Department of Spatial Planning, Ministry of Energy and Spatial Planning. For two years, ten international and multidisciplinary teams worked to develop visions and metrics to achieve the decarbonisation of Luxembourg and its crossborder functional area and create a more resilient territory. The aim of this exhibition is to make the results of the work of the four finalist teams, which also include the one led by our colleagues at the University of Luxembourg, accessible to a wide audience and to show the extent of the challenge of decarbonising Luxembourg’s territory, but also that more sustainable future scenarios may be the most desirable.
